NFKB1 and familial hyperlipidemia: We expected to investigate the effects of NF-κB signaling and hypertension with hyperlipemia, so we first assumed the inflammatory effects of TLR-related protein molecules upstream of NF-κB signaling pathway, measured TLR2 levels in the three clinical specimens by ELISA, and found a significant increase in TLR2 levels in familial hypertension group and familial hypertension combined with hyperlipidemia group compared with those in the control group.
