The numbers of multifunctional Granzyme B + Perforin + Vγ2 T effectors upon BCG-Nanocage/IL2 co-stimulation were also larger than those of BCG/IL2 co-stimulation (Fig. 3C–D), suggesting that BCG-Nanocage could induce Vγ2 T cells to produce more anti-TB protective cytokines or cytotoxic molecules.
