LncRNA glycolysis-associated lncRNA of colorectal cancer (GLCC1) prevents the classic oncogenic transcription factor MYC proto-oncogene (MYC) from ubiquitination by directly interacting with heat shock 90kD protein (HSP90) protein and mediates the transcriptional regulation of downstream target genes induced by MYC to enhance cell glycolysis, which further promotes cell proliferation in colorectal cancer [13]. This evidence concerns the gene FARP1 and colorectal cancer.
