We also found that another ALS-associated protein, ubiquilin 4 (Brettschneider et al. 2012; Edens et al. 2017), was one of the top 10 most downregulated proteins in the 4 dpf 2,4-DAB samples (UBQLN4; Enrichment p-value = 0.012; Log2 fold-change = −3.67; Fig. 6B). This evidence concerns the gene UBQLN4 and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
