Patients with 19del/L858R of NSCLC by osimertinib gained ideal positive results after resection of EGFR-mutated non-small-cell lung cancer, and reduced the risk of recurrence and death, such as disease-free (overall hazard ratio for disease recurrence or death: 0.17; 95% CI [0.11–0.26]; P < .001), and improved DFS.[5] The patient we reported had advanced NSCLC and was treated with osimertinib. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
