The CXCL5-CXCR2 axis has been shown to regulate neutrophil homeostasis [44] and facilitate migration and invasion of papillary thyroid carcinoma cells [45] and lung cancer cells [46], but no evidence has been shown that CXCL5 secreted by CAFs is linked with EMT to promote CRLM.
