We further assessed the composition of the tumor immune microenvironment by the TIMER algorithm and found that patients with low SCNA exhibited higher infiltration of DC (P = 0.03) (P = 0.06, Fig. 4B, C), however, there were no statistically significant differences in macrophages, CD4 + T cells, B cells, CD8 + T cells, and neutrophils between the high and low SCNA groups (Fig. 4C, D, Supplementary Figure 1A−D).
