We also discovered that BATF3/BDCA2+ DCs exhibited a higher tendency for infection over BATF3/BDCA2– cells in all organs under consideration (Fig. 4e) and that only in the liver, CD206+ macrophages were more likely to be infected than CD206– cells while in the lungs and heart, the converse was true (Fig. 4d).
