As expected, while tumour conditioned media generated from gemcitabine-treated human and mouse pancreatic cancer cells significantly increased neutrophil migration in vitro, compared with control conditioned media, the presence of the CXCR2 inhibitor SB225002 inhibited neutrophil migration (figure 7E, F; online supplemental figure S9D, E). Here, CXCR2 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
