OLIG2 and brain cancer: In order to illustrate how such simulations can be used for strategic planning, we subsetted the simulated brain cancer population for IDH‐mutated tumors and performed information theory calculations to determine the utility of age, gender, site, IDH status, 1p19q status, and immunohistochemical detection of Olig2, GFAP, CD34, synaptophysin, p53, and ATRX (Figure 1E).
