Here, we have shown that the absence of the chemokine receptor CCR2 interferes with colitis development in IL10R-deficient mice, as demonstrated by reduced colitis scores and decreased expression of genes associated with disease severity, including Il12b, Infg, and the INFg-induced gene Cxcl9, in mice lacking both IL10RA and CCR2 compared to mice lacking IL10RA alone. Here, CXCL9 is linked to colitis.
