We here show in SARS-CoV-2 convalescents with asymptomatic or mild SARS-CoV-2 infection the persistence of low frequencies of polyfunctional spike-reactive T cells over more than 11 months after infection, with polyfunctional IL-2 producing CD4 T cells being preferentially present and correlating with SARS-CoV-2-neutralizing antibody levels. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and infection.
