To characterize tau succinylation in a transgenic mouse model of tauopathy, we used high-resolution confocal laser scanning microscopy to compare the presence of lysine succinylation with that of tau oligomers (T22)46 and phospho-tau (AT8) in the hippocampus of wild-type and TgP301S mice (Fig. 6c, d and Supplementary Fig. 4a, b).
