Compared with participants with cumSUA < median, slope ≥ 0, participants in other groups were more likely to be older, men, educated, had higher income, more current smokers, current alcohol users, active physical activity, a higher prevalence of hypertension, dyslipidemia, more likely to take antihypertensive agents, lipid-lowering agents, a higher level of BMI, FBG, SBP, DBP, hs-CRP, and a lower level of eGFR.
