Muscular markers creatine phosphokinase (CPK) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) showed post-surgical increase in COVID-19 − group (112.5 ± 124.4 U/L pre-surgery, 272.6 ± 173.7 U/L day 1 post-surgery, p = 0.002 and 20.1 ± 8.6 U/L pre-surgery, 30.2 ± 24.3 U/L post-surgery, tendency p = 0.09, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene PIK3C2A and COVID-19.
