In the multinomial logistic regression analysis, after adjustment for age, smoking, diabetes, CKD staging, and covariates with a p-value ≤ 0.05 in univariate analyses, urinary KIM-1 level was an independent factor positively correlated with UCd in the CKD population (high vs. low UCd, odds ratio (95% confidence interval), 1.0016 (1.0001–1.0032), p = 0.043). The gene discussed is HAVCR1; the disease is chronic kidney disease.
