The results are in agreement with those obtained by Paradowska-Gorycka et al., which found from four possible haplotypes of the IL-27-A964G and IL-27-T4730C genes (A-T, G-T, A-C, G-C), a higher frequency of the GC haplotype (p = 0.001062) in patients with RA than in controls [75]. Here, IL27 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
