In a study, moringa extract containing phenols and flavonoids such as gallic acid, catechin, chlorogenic acid, ellagic acid, quercitrin, isoquercitrina, quercetin, rutin, kaempferol, and epicatechin inhibited enzymes as arginase and angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE-2), which were linked to erectile dysfunction and oxidative stress in rat’s penile [28]. This evidence concerns the gene ACE2 and erectile dysfunction.
