TP53 and glioblastoma: OA at 219 μM induces the cell death of non-hormone-dependent DU145 prostate cancer cells, as well as hormone-positive MCF-7 metastatic breast cancer (ER+/PR+) and U87 glioblastoma cells through mitochondrial pathways, with the increased expression of p53, Bax-associated cytochrome c release, caspase-3 activation and PARP cleavage.
