In summary, this research for the first time demonstrates clearly that terazosin exerts anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory and anti-cell death effects on gastrointestinal disease in vivo and in vitro through blocking the pro-inflammatory cytokines, which are involved in the NF-κB-GSDMD axis-mediated pyroptosis pathways. Here, NFKB1 is linked to gastrointestinal disease.
