The major finding of the present study was that GC patients with NTRK1-3 amplification exhibited enhanced expression of NOS2 (iNOS), CD274 (PD-L1), KDR (VEGFR2), CD44, VEGFA–C, CTNNB1, and TGFβR1, while they exhibited reduced expression of MUC6 and NQO1 (to be included in these genes, the standard deviation of log2 expression differences had to exceed two, totaled over all samples). Here, MUC6 is linked to gastric cancer.
