As suggested by its name, both the nonlipidated and the PtdETn-conjugated forms of LC3 are associated with MTs, either directly or by their interaction with the microtubule-associated protein 1S (MAP1S), a protein that confers cisplatin sensitivity in non-small cell lung cancer cells through autophagy activation [111,112]. Here, MAP1S is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
