It has been reported that MAP3K8 was overexpressed in several types of cancer, including skin cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, squamous cell carcinoma, ovarian cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, endometrial cancer, gastric cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinomas, anaplastic large-cell lymphoma, colitis-associated cancer, bladder cancer, and cervical cancer (Sourvinos et al., 1999; Jeong et al., 2011; Gruosso et al., 2015; Lee et al., 2015; Li et al., 2015; Pyo et al., 2018). This evidence concerns the gene MAP3K8 and breast carcinoma.
