The low expression of SDHB has been shown to promote aerobic glycolysis (Tseng et al., 2018), and the lack of SDHB function has been implicated in the occurrence and development of multiple kinds of tumors, including liver cancer, renal cancer and colorectal cancer (Tseng et al., 2018; Rahn et al., 2019). This evidence concerns the gene SDHB and renal carcinoma.
