HNRNPA2B1 and breast carcinoma: In endocrine-resistant LCC9 breast cancer cells, HNRNPA2B1 expression is higher than that in parental and tamoxifen-sensitive cells, and this increase alters the transcriptome and expression of miRNAs, because HNRNPA2B1 is a “reader” of the m6A mark in pri-miRNAs and is responsible for promoting DROSHA processing of pre-miRNAs (Klinge et al., 2019).
