METTL3 and neoplasm: In NSCLC, the METTL3/YTHDF3 complex enhances the stability of lncRNA MALAT1, regulating the MALAT1-miR-1914-3p-YAP axis to increase YAP expression and induce drug resistance (Jin et al., 2019); METTL3, as a direct target gene of miR-4443 in tumour exosomes, is involved in regulating FSP1 expression and interferes with the ferroptosis induced by cisplatin, resulting in drug resistance (Song et al., 2021).
