As Ephrin family of proteins are reported to be a part of the intestinal stem cell niche, and as we observed an up-regulation of Ephrin-B1 in the membrane fractions of cells growing in CSC-enriching culture conditions previously by LC-MS/MS (data not shown), we tested the possible cooperation of TUBB4B and Ephrin-B1 in oral cancer. This evidence concerns the gene TUBB4B and lip and oral cavity carcinoma.
