The analysis of SLE-specific autoantibodies (double-stranded DNA, Smith, ribonucleoproteins, and Sjogren’s syndrome-related antigen A and B) did not reveal a statistically significant association between these autoantibodies and NPSLE. There was a statistically significant association between the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) and NPSLE (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene FASLG and systemic lupus erythematosus.
