At present, large number of studies have confirmed that CD147 was highly expressed in a variety of malignant tumors, and positively correlated with malignant progression of tumors, including breast cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer, lung cancer, and ovarian cancer 8-12, which suggested that CD147 played a vital role in early diagnosis, prognosis evaluation, invasion and metastasis of various malignancy. This evidence concerns the gene BSG and hepatocellular carcinoma.
