To further validate, we investigated the IGFBP3 expression pattern in the TCGA database and the Cambridge dataset, and found that IGFBP3 expression increased significantly with tumor progression, and IGFBP3 was significantly upregulated while LOX expression was significantly downregulated in CRPC tissues from channel transurethral resection of the prostate compared to primary PCa tissues from radical prostatectomy (P<0.05) (Fig. 4B and Supplementary Figure 1B-C). This evidence concerns the gene IGFBP3 and posterior cortical atrophy.
