We also identified six genes that are highly expressed in the various cell types of the inflamed synovium for which a specific role has not yet been attributed in the context of RA; MZB1 (Marginal zone B and B1 cell-specific protein), FUT7 (Fucosyltransferase 7), TGM2 (Transglutaminase 2), IGLV1-51 (Immunoglobulin Lambda Variable 1–51), LINC01010 (Long Intergenic Non-Protein Coding RNA 1010), and CDK1 (cyclin-dependent kinase 1). Here, TGM2 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
