NFKB1 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Numerous researches on AMF have revealed its cytotoxic potential against different cancers, such as HCC, breast cancer, osteosarcoma, bladder cancer, ovarian cancer, etc. AMF suppresses tumor pathological progress and metastasis in vitro and in vivo through several molecular mechanisms, including cell cycle arrest, apoptosis and autophagy induction, etc. AMF acts anti-cancer effect also by initiating p53 and inhibiting NF-κB, PI3K-AKT, ERK, and MAPK/mTOR signal pathways.
