FNBP1 plays a key role in the invasion of bladder tumor cells by mediating the formation of invasive pseudopodia [36]; Prabhat Suman et al. found that breast cancer cells knocked down by FNBP1 showed defects in the invasion phenotype, and the degradation of ECM during the invasion process was impaired, indicating that FNBP1 is essential in the role of breast cancer cell invasion [37].
