PDZRN3 and heart failure: Although we acknowledge that mechanism and signaling pathway by which Pdzrn3 controls cardiomyocyte polarization and elongation is not fully described in this report, because of the difficulties to work on elongation and ID on an in vitro model, this study identifies PDZRN3 as a novel signaling regulator of polarized myocyte organization and as a potential therapeutic target for the prevention of human heart failure.
