Immobilized targeting reagent 5-amino-3-(pyrrolo[2,3-c]pyridin-1-yl)isoquinoline (defluorinated MK6240, DMK6240) to the surface of MOF Fe-MIL-88B-NH2-NOTA-DMK6240/MB could be precisely located in the lesion sites by targeting hyperphosphorylated tau specifically, which then ameliorated AD symptom through inhibiting the aggregation status of hyperphorylated tau (Zhao et al., 2020a). Here, MAPT is linked to Alzheimer disease.
