In our study, we explored the possible physiological roles of 23 m6A methylation-regulated genes in melanoma, including the “writers” CBLL1, KIAA1429, METTL14, METTL3, RBM15, RBM15B, WTAP, and ZC3H13; the “readers” ELAVL1, FMR1, HNRNPA2B1, HNRNPC, IGF2BP1, IGF2BP2, IGF2BP3, LRPPRC, YTHDC1, YTHDC2, YTHDF1, YTHDF2, and YTHDF3; and the “erasers” ALKBH5 and FTO. Here, YTHDC1 is linked to melanoma.
