MKI67 and neoplasm: Previous studies established that elevated CK2 activity or levels in head and neck cancer are associated with Ki-67-positive tumor cells, aggressive tumor behavior and poor clinical outcome (Chua, Lee & Dominguez, 2017; Faust et al., 1996; Faust et al., 1999; Gapany et al., 1995); however, these studies did not incorporate tumor HPV status.
