AKT1 and lung adenocarcinoma: Previous studies reported that SKA3 promotes the proliferation and migration of lung adenocarcinoma and cervical cancer cells through the PI3K-Akt axis (Dan-Dan et al., 2020; Hu et al., 2018), suggesting that the PI3K-Akt pathway may be critical for SKA3 to promote tumor formation, invasion, and metastasis.
