We found that the NF-κB pathway was activated in RSL3-treated glioblastoma cells, and NF-κB pathway inhibition could prevent RSL3-induced ferroptosis; however, GPX4 silencing alone did not induce ferroptosis, but combining NF-κB pathway activation with GPX4 depletion induced ferroptosis. This evidence concerns the gene GPX4 and glioblastoma.
