The tumor was verified by histochemical and immunohistochemical methods, demonstrating that the lumens of the glands and cribriform structures composed of epithelial cells had Alcian blue-positive mucins and that the epithelial cells were positive for CD117 (90%) and CD43 (10%) and the cytokeratins AE1/AE3, CK5, p63, and Ber-Ep4 (Fig. 2C, D).
