We note that Rebbeck et al. [25] reported differences in oestrogen/progesterone receptor expression status of breast tumours in women with BRCA1/BRCA2 MINAS compared to those with P/LP variants in BRCA1 or BRCA2 only such that MINAS cases were more likely to be oestrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) positive breast cancers than BRCA1-only cases and less likely to be ER- and PR-positive than in BRCA2-only cases. Here, BRCA1 is linked to breast neoplasm.
