Ivosidenib (AG-120) and enasidenib (AG-221) are first-in-class inhibitors of mutant IDH1 and IDH2 (mIDH1 and mIDH2) (42, 43), respectively, which were recently approved by the FDA for the treatment of AML with IDH1 or IDH2 mutation. The gene discussed is IDH1; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
