In this study, we investigated differential expression profiles of these lncRNAs in the subpopulations of PBMCs after acute ischemic stroke (AIS) and proposed a model in which interleukin-4 (IL-4) induces upregulation of SNHG15, which serves as a repressor of the inflammatory response through inhibiting K63-linked ubiquitination of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor-associated factor 2 (TRAF2). The gene discussed is IL4; the disease is androgen insensitivity syndrome.
