By backward selection, multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age (OR = 1.08, 95% CI: 1.03–1.13, P < 0.001), WC (OR = 1.03, 95% CI: 1.02–1.05, P < 0.001), insulin (OR = 1.004, 95% CI: 1.002–1.007, P < 0.001), FSH (OR = 0.90, 95% CI: 0.83–0.99, P = 0.022) and SHBG (OR = 0.98, 95% CI: 0.98–0.99, P < 0.001) were independent predictors for dyslipidemia in Chinese women with PCOS (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene INS and polycystic ovary syndrome.
