Patients scoring higher in depression and anxiety were more likely to report less family visits compared to patients with unchanged frequency of family visits (PHQ-9: F(1, 529) = 10.883, p <0.001, η2 = 0.020; Figure 4B; GAD-7: F(1, 523) = 14.864, p <0.001, η2 = 0.028) and further reported a lower frequency of leaving their homes compared to patients who reported leaving their homes as often as before the pandemic (PHQ-9: F(1, 702) = 39.481, p <0.001, η2 = 0.053; Figure 4A; GAD-7: F(1, 689) = 38.901, p <0.001, η2 = 0.053). Here, GAD1 is linked to depressive disorder.
