Based on the CGGA microarray database, the univariate regression analysis indicated that ELK3 (P < 0.001, [HR] = 2.047 [95% CI [1.625–2.578]), PRS type (P < 0.001, [HR] = 2.042 (95% CI [1.511–2.759])), histology (P < 0.001, [HR] = 4.437 [95% CI [3.235–6.086]), grade (P < 0.001, [HR] = 2.567 [95% CI [2.125–3.100]), age (P < 0.001, [HR] = 1.736 [95% CI [1.283–2.349]), and chemotherapy status (P < 0.001, [HR] = 1.530 [95% CI [1.125–2.079])) were risk factors for poor prognosis of patients with gliomas (Figure 2E).
