Second, based on the CGGA RNA-seq database, the univariate regression analysis revealed that ELK3 (P < 0.001, [HR] = 1.893 [95% CI [1.698–2.110]), PRS type (P < 0.001, [HR] = 2.123 [95% CI [1.818–2.478])), histology (P < 0.001, [HR] = 4.487 [95% CI [3.695–5.449]), grade (P < 0.001, [HR] = 2.883 [95% CI [2.526–3.291]), age (P < 0.001, [HR] = 1.624 [95% CI [1.345–1.960])), and chemotherapy status (P < 0.001, [HR] = 1.647–952.044) were risk factors for poor prognosis of patients with gliomas (Figure 2D). This evidence concerns the gene ELK3 and central nervous system cancer.
