Mice bearing Hmga2 knockout MC38 tumors showed decreased infiltrating CD11b+F4/80+ macrophages and CD11b+F4/80+CD206+ M2 macrophages (Figure 1E), indicating that anti-tumor effects of Hmga2 depletion might involve mechanisms mediated by the recruitment and polarization of TAMs in CRC.
