The m6A-IS score includes, but is not limited to, regulatory factors related to m6A, such as HNRNPC, RBM15B, and YTHDF3. HNRNPC appeared to be related to good outcomes in glioma patients (Wang et al., 2020a) and was associated with an increased proportion of patients at low risk of lung squamous cell carcinoma based on an immune-related prediction model (Xu et al., 2020) that is similar to our model. This evidence concerns the gene RBM15B and squamous cell lung carcinoma.
