In our study, we identified that DNASE1L3 could not only inhibit tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasiveness by inducing G0/G1 cell cycle arrest and cell apoptosis but also weakened glycolysis via inactivating rate-limiting enzymes involved in the PTPN2-HK2 and CEBPβ-p53-TIGAR-PFK1 pathways (Supplementary Fig 9).
