As presented in Fig. 2D-F, the results showed that G6PD is positively correlated with Cyclin E1 (r = 0.455; p < 0.001) and MMP9 (r = 0.385; p < 0.001), but rather negatively correlated with Cyclin D1 (r = -0.289; p < 0.001); suggesting that Cyclin E1 and MMP9 overexpression may be dependent on G6PD dysregulation in ccRCC. The gene discussed is CCNE1; the disease is nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
