Similarly, a subgroup analysis of the phase 3 OAK trial (NCT02008227) (Hida et al. 2018) of 64 Japanese patients diagnosed with locally advanced PD-L1-positive NSCLC who underwent therapy with atezolizumab showed that a longer median OS was detected for the atezolizumab regimen than for the docetaxel regimen (21.3 months vs. 17.0 months, respectively; HR 0.80; 95% CI 0.41–1.57). This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
